The STEAM Curriculum
STEAM Education at MCS aims to develop students’ potential as real-world problem solvers in a society grounded in STEAM knowledge, and to cultivate their scientific and technological literacy.
The curriculum emphasises problem-solving, inquiry learning, and student-centred research, encouraging students to engage with contextual problems and find their own solutions. Students are expected to acquire skills in engineering design, scientific processes, computation, and mathematics. Various interactive activities and programmes are organised outside the classroom to extend students’ experiential learning across diverse STEAM disciplines.
The curriculum fosters creativity, collaboration, and a positive attitude towards challenges, strengthening their ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills through STEAM learning.
