School Choir Shines at Prize Winners’ Concert of the 77th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival

09/05/2025

On 9 May 2025, the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival Prize Winners’ Concert for Sacred Music took place at the historic St. John’s Cathedral. Our School Choir had the distinct honour of performing selected movements from Vivaldi’s Magnificat in collaboration with the Senior Choir of Ying Wa College. The concert also featured outstanding performances by other distinguished prize winners in various sacred music categories, providing a wonderful platform for our students to showcase their talents, learn from their peers, and grow together musically.

This year has been one of the most significant achievements for our School Choir. They earned a Gold Award at the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival’s competition cum masterclass. Furthermore, in collaboration with Ying Wa College, they came first in the secondary school oratorio category, and secured second place in the secondary female voices vocal ensemble with piano accompaniment category at the 77th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. We are immensely proud of our students’ dedication and eagerly anticipate more inspiring performances in the future.
