The Sparks of Multicultural Days

The Sparks of Multicultural Days

11/04/2025

On 10 and 11 April, with the assistance of some non-Chinese speaking students, the Chinese Language Panel organised the Multicultural Days to celebrate global cultures and traditions. During lunchtime, students enjoyed booths set up by teachers and peers, immersing themselves in diverse cultural experiences.

One highlight was the chance to engage with henna, a traditional art form from South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Experienced peers applied henna, allowing students to appreciate its intricate designs and the cultural traditions behind them. Photo-taking stands featuring beautiful traditional clothing from South Asia were also popular among students.

Overall, the events fostered a lively atmosphere for celebrating diversity and promoting cultural awareness, providing students with a memorable experience and insight into the rich traditions that shape our world.
