Dr Felix Cheung, a clinical psychologist, conducted two impactful talks for parents at our school on 3 February. The first talk focused on effective parenting strategies to manage students’ use of social media and mobile phones. The second talk emphasised the significance of empathy in parent-child interactions to handle post-pandemic challenges such as low self-esteem, inadequate social skills, and anxiety. Parents responded positively, appreciating Dr Cheung’s insights and practical advice. These talks equipped parents with valuable tools to support their children’s well-being in the digital age.
