Nature Appreciation and Forest-bathing

28/03/2026

The Mentorship Programme hosted a restorative Nature Appreciation and Forest- bathing experience on 28 March 2026.

The morning began with an exclusive campus eco-tour led by Student Environmental Protection Ambassador Hailey Ho (5C), allowing mentors and mentees to appreciate the school’s lush greenery.

The group then transitioned to Kowloon Tsai Park, where alumna and veteran forest therapy guide Ms Amanda Yik conducted an immersive session. By engaging the five senses — observing the natural surroundings, listening to birdsong, and feeling the green grass — participants practised mindfulness and experienced tranquillity. A highlight of the session was the creation of a ‘natural perfume’, where mentors and mentees gathered fallen flowers and leaves to craft their own unique blends. This creative activity sparked heartfelt conversations, strengthening bonds and creating lasting memories.

The event concluded with a peaceful tea ceremony and a reflective quote from Pope Francis on our connection to Mother Earth. Overall, this relaxing experience offered mentors and mentees a meaningful space to deepen their relationships while nurturing a shared commitment to protecting the beauty of nature.
