On 16 October 2026, teachers and students gathered to celebrate Maryknoll Day, an annual tradition on the Friday before Mission Sunday that honour the missionary spirit and our school’s heritage. Ms Christina Lee shared with us two interviews with Sr Mary Lou Rajdl and Sr Anne Marie Emdin at the Motherhouse. We learned about their spiritual journey and experiences in their missionary lives as Sisters, as well as the importance of the Foundation in continuing the Maryknoll Sisters’ legacy. Afterwards, alumna Ms Maggie Chau empowered us to uphold the Maryknoll Spirit and remember the year’s theme, ‘Unity of Spirit, Diversity of Gifts’. To conclude the event, everyone enjoyed a special treat of ice cream, a gift from the MCS Foundation.
