During the summer vacation, 14 F.4 and F.5 students participated in a joint-school summer school service programme, in which they collaborated with around 20 students from Wah Yan College, Hong Kong and Good Hope School to serve 50 underprivileged primary students from Sham Shui Po District through teaching a diverse range of courses.

This year, the summer school ran for four days (18-21 July) at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong. During the four-day programme, the student volunteers got to experience the life of a teacher as they had to design their own courses, plan lessons, prepare teaching materials, and teach. Besides core courses including English and Social Studies, Mathematics and Science, STEAM, Art, Drama, Music, and Sports, there were also elective courses such as K-pop Dance, Floriography, and Board Games.

The summer school came to an end following a simple but touching Graduation Ceremony held on the last day of the programme. Apart from enjoying the activities thoroughly, the student volunteers also experienced personal growth in the process.
