Green Fair x SA Week: Celebrating Campus Biodiversity
From 14 to 16 April, the Green Team and the Student Association collaborated once again to organise the Green Fair x SA Week during second-half lunch breaks. The event aimed to raise awareness and deepen understanding of campus biodiversity, particularly the importance of trees, through interactive stall games and activities.
Highlights included:
- a wooden magnet DIY workshop, where participants wrote their favourite green-themed phrases on recycled wooden pieces and transformed them into personalised magnets to take home,
- Jenga games made from recycled wood, blending fun with sustainability, and
- card matching games featuring campus tree species to educate players about local flora.
Additionally, the Green Team hosted campus eco-tours after school, led by Student Environmental Protection Ambassadors. These dedicated student docents guided participants through the school’s rich biodiversity, offering insights to both students and staff.
The event successfully combined education, engagement, and environmental advocacy, fostering a greater appreciation for nature within the school community.
