From 10 to 12 November, Athena Cheung (5D), Clarice Chung (5E), Natalie Hui (4A), and Jenny Cheung (4B) participated in a green exchange tour and visited Zhuhai with more than 160 secondary school students from Hong Kong and Macau.

The young people from the three regions engaged in an array of learning activities. They visited a number of exemplary enterprises in waste management, energy efficiency and technologies, and carbon reduction. They also attended academic seminars by experts and scholars on climate change and carbon neutrality, and went on field trips to a wetland conservation area in Hengqin. These activities aimed to enhance their understanding of the national ‘dual-carbon’ targets, as well as the carbon reduction measures and actions taken by various sectors. This event has provided a good platform for interactive exchanges among young people in the Greater Bay Area, and also offered them a great learning opportunity.
