F.5 Mainland Study Tour: Humen and Nansha
On 29 and 30 June, All Form 5 students embarked on a remarkable two‑day journey to Humen and Nansha, immersing themselves in the proud history and vibrant development of our nation.
In Nansha, they visited Dongsheng Farm, which supplies fresh vegetables to Hong Kong, the Guangzhou Fourth Resource Thermal Power Plant, showcasing China’s innovation in waste‑to‑energy, and the majestic Nansha Tianhou Palace, the largest Mazu temple in Southeast Asia.
In Humen, they explored the Opium War Museum (Lin Zexu Memorial Hall) and the Guangdong Dongjiang Column Memorial Museum, honouring China’s resilience and patriotic spirit in the Second Sino-Japanese War.
The tour inspired students with respect, responsibility, and deep appreciation for our country’s glorious heritage and achievements.
