Our school and La Salle College recently organised a reception programme in collaboration, welcoming nine students from Colegio de La Salle Buenos Aires to Hong Kong. On 29 January, the guest students had the opportunity to shadow their host counterparts having lessons at our school.

During lunchtime, a special gathering was held at the Cookery Room. As tokens of friendship, souvenirs were exchanged, including Chinese Lunar New Year ‘Fai Chuns’ adorned with words of blessings and good wishes.

In the afternoon, the host students conducted a presentation in Spanish about the history, structure, and various students’ activities of our school. It was followed by a campus tour, which allowed the visitors to witness the vibrant school life. The one- day school visit was concluded with a delightful tea party at the canteen, where everyone indulged in egg tarts, the signature local pastry.

The collaboration between La Salle College, Maryknoll Convent School, and Colegio de La Salle Buenos Aires fostered a deeper understanding and friendship among the students, creating a memorable and fruitful experience for all participants.
