Empowering Hours with Siobhán Haughey
On December 7, one of our students, Janice Ma (6B), had the opportunity to participate in the ‘Empower through Reading with Siobhán Haughey’ initiative. This event aimed to inspire students to unlock their potential through the power of books while integrating essential AI literacy skills into their learning.
Siobhán Haughey, a true role model, passionate avid reader and swimmer, led the discussion, joined by Ms Joanna Hotong. Together, they engaged students in meaningful and inspiring conversations about reading as an active, purposeful habit and a meaningful part of their life.
Their initiative encouraged students to explore their interests in literature, using stories to discover their identities and connect with the world around them. By fostering a love for reading, this programme empowered students to think critically and find their own voices in a technology-driven age.
