Easter Prayer Service
On 18 April 2023, the Easter Prayer Service was conducted in the school hall. Staff and students gathered to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, and learn from Him the virtues of faith, hope, and love. Hymns were sung to mark the joyful occasion.
The school was honoured to have invited Fr Joseph Karam of Lebanon to share stories of the Biblical country, including the large-scale explosion that took place in 2020 in the country's capital, Beirut. Students were invited to pray for the recovery of the land as an act of love in this Easter season, and learn from the Lebanese how they have been staying faithful as Christian witnesses.
In addition, the school invited Feeding Hong Kong, a food bank dedicated to fighting hunger and reducing food waste, to talk about its mission. Students learnt about the importance of resource conservation and ways to support the city. They were also encouraged to take part in a food drive that the school is co-organising with the charitable organisation.
