Our school has been invited to visit the Office of Loro Piana (Asia Pacific Region), a renowned luxury retail brand known for its heritage and craftsmanship, on 17 April 2026. 20 Form 3 to Form 5 students stepped into the world of fashion, gaining in-depth understanding of the mechanisms behind retail window displays, collection design, and celebrity endorsements.


For over two hours, the participants listened to presentations on merchandising, visual merchandising, and marketing. They then applied these concepts in interactive workshops—designing displays and selecting merchandise for different store locations to meet customer needs and boost sales.


Throughout the visit, students learnt how data analytics drives inventory decisions, visual merchandising shapes customer experience, and marketing strategies align with brand image. They were also introduced to the importance of cross-departmental collaboration — merchandisers forecast demand, visual teams design displays, and marketing personnel handle promotions. The workshop allowed students to gain practical skills in product planning and mood board creation, inspiring them to explore careers in fashion retail.
