Some Form 4 students joined a Chinese culture workshop on incense making on 24 March 2023. In the workshop, the instructors introduced the history of incense in China and how it is used in a wide range of Chinese cultural activities including religious ceremonies, ancestor veneration, and so on. The incense industry in Hong Kong was also discussed. Students then had an opportunity to make their own incense using different materials such as sandalwood and cinnamon. The workshop has enhanced students' understanding and appreciation of incense as a cultural item of China.
