.b is the UK’s leading mindfulness curriculum for 11-18 year olds in schools. .b stands for ‘stop and be’, a simple practice at the heart of this course. The Educational Psychologist from the Education Bureau hosted nine sessions from January to June at lunchtime and after school.


Apart from watching animated videos and sharing, different ways which help ‘living in the moment’, such as finger breathing technique, meditation exercise, and concentration methods were introduced so students may practise them at home. Participants from Form 1 to 4 found the workshops useful and relaxing, as they could put aside their hectic school work and worries for a short time, enjoying calmness and focusing on their inner selves.
