The 5th Asian Cadet Taekwondo Championships took place in Beirut, Lebanon from 6th to 8th September this year. In this highly competitive international contest, Clare Wong (3A), representing the HKSAR, won the Bronze medal in the Female – 164 cm division.

The journey to the victory podium is not easy at all. Clare had to overcome the challenges of jet lag after an 18-hour flight, a different diet in a foreign country, and the intense stress of being an HKSAR representative in the competition. Nevertheless, the immense satisfaction derived from the prize and the invaluable opportunity to connect with athletes from different countries made all hardships worthwhile. We congratulate Clare on her achievement and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
