The founder of the Maryknoll Sisters learned to listen humbly to God’s voice.

"For all of us, perfection really consists in doing to the very best of our ability, for the love of God, the duty of the moment, " Mother Mary Joseph said to her novice sisters.

This year, our school theme is "Give us this day our daily bread ".

"This day" depicts the significance of the present and therefore Maryknollers should live the present moment to the fullest. Life is not perfect and it is natural for us to fear the obstacles along the way. As Christians, we are free from such fear for we trust in God’s providence and listen humbly to Him.

Be the instrument of God, just as ,Sufi poet, Hafiz (14th century) put it, "I am a hole in a flute through which Christ breathes, listen to the music."
