The Chinese Language, Chinese History, and Citizenship & Social Development Panels have jointly organised a guided tour about Chinese herbal medicine. A group of junior and senior form students visited Lui Seng Chun, a landmark on Lai Chi Kok Road known for its elegant architectural style converted into a Chinese medicine healthcare centre by Hong Kong Baptist University. They then visited a specialty and old-fashioned herbal tea shop nearby, where the shopkeeper warmly welcomed and introduced herbal tea to our students. Finally, they visited a famous herbal orthopaedic clinic with a traditional decor.

From this guided tour, the students have gained understanding of different historical buildings and the Chinese herbal medical culture, making them more interested in exploring traditional Chinese herbal medicine.
