Congratulations to Cyrene Hui (4D) for winning the B Grade Javelin gold medal in the Inter School Athletics Competition (Division 1) and breaking the Hong Kong U18 record.

Last year, which was her first year competing in B Grade Javelin, Cyrene set the then-new record at 37.14m. This year, she has broken the Hong Kong U18 record (44.44m, 2021). After a first throw of an impressive 46.09m, she set the new record with her second throw at 48.10m.

After the competition, she expressed her gratitude to her family, teachers, coaches, and schoolmates for their support. She has come to appreciate her gifts and strengths more, and she will continue to work hard and strive for the best. We wish Cyrene even more success in the future.
